Super Bowl LIX Trip
In February 2025, members of the Sports Committee at WXCI and I went to New Orleans to report at the biggest event in football. I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to talk with several professional athletes and coaches, as well as attend press conferences and events.
My wonderful team and I are pictured here at a media party for all media personnel. I still think of the incredible food we were able to enjoy that night.

One of the most memorable parts of the trip was getting to attend an Apple Music Halftime event that included Kendrick Lamar, sign language interpreters for the halftime show, and artists from New Orleans. As a Kendrick Lamar fan myself, I was looking forward to attending this event all week.
At a press event hosted by FOX, I was able to speak briefly with Charissa Thompson. She was so kind and helpful, giving me her email after the event and telling me I could reach out to her with any future questions.
